Runs big

The dress runs big. I’m 5’8 and 148lbs 35 bust and 29 waist and I ordered a medium and it’s too big so I have to pull the back lace all the way and it’s still a bit too big and doesn’t look great. I should have gotten a small but it’s too late since my event is here.
